Promise of Justice Initiative @justicespromise in collaboration with the Center for Constitutional Rights @ccrjustice along with the ten featured artists and Antenna collective member and artist, Flora Cabili @_flora_cabili, are excited to share ABOUT TIME – Louisiana’s Jim Crow Juries and the Fight for Liberation, opening Saturday February 8th at 6 pm @antenna.works

Led by the storytelling, artwork, and the vision of Mondrell Wilson, Mark Cooper, Derrick Holt, Tuan Tran, Rufus Henry, Mark Stephen King, Peter Rubens, Keith Brazley Lloyd Gray, and Anthony Boult, ten artists impacted by non-unanimous convictions, ABOUT TIME reveals the enduring effects of racism, the carceral state, and Jim Crow juries in Louisiana.

ABOUT TIME shares stories through paintings, wood working, sculpture, and video that speak to the singular and collective experience, across time. This exhibit is an opportunity to tangibly connect and engage. Throughout the next two months and beyond, you will be able to write letters, take part in legislative efforts, buy a 50 page publication (designed by @_flora_cabili), and buy prints of the artwork. All the purchase proceeds will go to the artists.  Stay tuned for programming updates!
