Antenna Part 1

For the next four months, during the run of Prospect, Antenna will feature four exhibitions highlighting the work of Antenna collective members that shape the organization’s visual art programming, alongside a select group of artists from the New Orleans community.

November features AnnieLaurie Erickson, Ben Fox-McCord, Avery Lawrence, and Ashley Teamer. AnnieLaurie Erickson is a lens-based artist and the Director of Photography at Tulane University. She received her MFA from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago and her BFA from the Rhode Island School of Design. Ben Fox-McCord is an artist, musician, and future Sasquatch who hails from East Tennessee’s Appalachian Valley. He received his BFA from the University of Tennessee and his MFA from Tulane University. He has been living and working in New Orleans since 2010. Avery Lawrence was born in Charlottesville, VA. He graduated from the University of Pennsylvania in 2008 with a degree in Visual Studies. He received his MFA in studio art from California Institute of the Arts in 2015. He recently moved from New Orleans to Philadelphia. Ashley Teamer attended Boston University, where she received her BFA in Painting and Sculpture. She was an Artist-in-residence for the St. Roch Community Church in New Orleans and attended the Skowhegan School of Painting and Sculpture.
