Inner/Circle

The work in Inner/Circle explores themes of uncertainty, time, memory, longing, and dreams. It is informed by human nature and those stories happening around us and in us. The work utilizes layers to reference the gradual accumulation of experience and imagery of the familiar that often functions as a stand-in for the body and mind. These stand-ins exist in landscapes that are ambiguous or veiled, frequently bearing scars and openings on their surface that provide evidence of a life lived
