Gatecrashers Publishing Panel

Justin Nobel and Maurice Ruffin will host a Gatecrashers Publishing Panel at 5 p.m. on Sunday, November 6, at Envie Espresso Bar & Cafe (1241 Decatur Street). 

This event is a call out to writers of all stripes. This is not a writing workshop, but a pitching session. You may have a great essay or short story. This is your chance to ask a local journalist and fiction writer how to craft a strong story to pitch your work to magazines, newspapers, and websites. Get published.

Justin Nobel is a working freelance journalist. He has published journalism with Time, Reuters, Oxford American, and Orion.

Maurice Carlos Ruffin won the Iowa Review Fiction prize and has published short stories in AGNI, Kenyon Review, and Massachusetts Review.
