“Hot Summer Nights” YA Author Tour at Octavia Books

Octavia Books hosts the “Hot Summer Nights” young adult author tour at 6 p.m. on Tuesday, July 11, at their uptown storefront (513 Octavia Street). The reading will feature bestselling young adult authors Sarah Mlynowski, Jodi Lynn Anderson, Adele Griffin and Morgan Matson. The authors will read from and sign copies of their latest novels.

Sarah Mlynowski is the author of several books including the Magic in Manhattan series, Ten Things We Did (And Probably Shouldn’t Have) and How To Be Bad (along with E.Lockhart and Lauren Myracle).

Jodi Lynn Anderson is the New York Times bestselling author of Peaches, Tiger Lily, The Vanishing Season, and the popular May Bird trilogy.

Adele Griffin is the acclaimed author of many books for young readers, most recently The Unfinished Life of Addison Stone.

Morgan Matson is a New York Times bestselling author. She received her MFA in writing for children from the New School and was named a Publishers Weekly Flying Start author for her first book, Amy & Roger’s Epic Detour, which was also recognized as an ALA Top Ten Best Book for Young Adults. Her second book, Second Chance Summer, won the California State Book Award.
