How to Field Dress a Pair of Turkeys at a New Orleans Transient Camp

by

Writer Molly Rideout recently published a selection from her forthcoming collection of writings developed during her work in New Orleans as an Antenna::Spillways artist-in-residence: How to Field Dress a Pair of Turkeys at a New Orleans Transient Camp. You can also listen to her read her this story here.

During her time as a Spillways resident, Molly has been embedding herself in local transient camps to develop hybrid writings that explore this often little-understood enclave of New Orleans culture. Over the next year you will see more work from this project, which will ultimately be published into a book from Antenna’s Press Street Press.

Antenna::Spillways is funded in part by the VIA Art Fund, the Andy Warhol Foundation for the Visual Arts, the National Endowment for the Arts, and by generous contributions of individuals just like you!
