La Liga Zine
La Liga Zine is a publishing collective dedicated to deconstructing latinidad in print and online; created with the intent to pragmatically disrupt neoliberal white supremacist media outlets and monopolies; interested in exploring pamphleting as an art practice, protest art, permanence of meaning, creating alternative economies, distributing conocimiento, building community and learning to hold each other accountable. The collective was founded by three queer women — none of them citizens of the united states. La Liga has been a part of several national group exhibitions and zine fests, was awarded a 2016 NALAC Fund for the Arts grant, and has created content for the New York Art Book Fair at MoMa PS1.
