Nic[o] Brierre Aziz

Nic[o] Brierre Aziz is a native New Orleanian writer, curator, and performance artist. His passions for written expression and traveling led him to found WriteBrained – a youth development program that utilizes the power of writing and unique cultural experiences as catalysts for self-discovery. In addition to this, he also manages the Haitian Cultural Legacy Collection, which features over 400 pieces of artwork that was started by his maternal grandfather in 1944. Nic is a Salzburg Global Fellow and obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree from Morehouse College and a Master of Science degree from The University of Manchester (UK). Nic is also former curator of Antenna Signals Live Arts Magazine.
