Musically Speaking – WTF: An Okaymentary

This film tells the story of how one online community – the users of okayplayer.com – has overcome the nebulous nature of the Internet to build a network of meaningful relationships based on their common passion for music. The universal language has inspired fans of hip hop artists like The Roots, Common, D’Angelo, Jill Scott, Talib Kweli, Mos Def and Erykah Badu to get online and speak with each other. By sharing their words day after day, week after week, year after year, the users of okayplayer.com have formed a virtual and very real family. wtf: an okaymentary is the portrait of that family.
