New Orleans Loving Festival – COMMUNITY CELEBRATION
Please join the New Orleans Loving Festival for a Community Celebration.
Ice Cream Social, 2:00pm – 4:00pm
Family fun, free ice cream and other treats! We’ll have activities for kids – including face painting, storytelling, art projects, and more! The ice cream social will be held in the common area of The New Orleans Healing Center.
Shades of Praise Gospel Concert, 4:00pm – 5:00pm
“Shades of Praise” introduces Gospel to wider audiences across racial and denominational boundaries, and forges relationships that dispel stereotypes and create racial harmony. The concert will take place at Cafe Istanbul, inside the New Orleans Healing Center. Admission is free, so spread the word.
Hosted by New Orleans Loving Festival, Cafe Istanbul, and Defend New Orleans, with with support from Press Street, Art from the Heart, BIG CLASS, The Creole Creamery, The New Orleans Healing Center, Shades of Praise, and Charitable Film Network.
