Performance by Hez Stalcup

Antenna Gallery’s “True Colors” exhibit is very excited to feature a performance by Atlanta-based artist, Hez Stalcup on August 9th from 7-11 pm at Dancing Grounds (3705 St. Claude Ave.) This event will be free and open to the public.

Hez Stalcup works through collaboration that encourages the challenge of how to speak to life experiences through movement that is simple, distilled, and shamelessly honest. In 2013 and 2014, Hez created both group work and duets for Wonderroot’s Dance Change Atlanta, as well as duets for Sumptuary at Mint Gallery and Vida Voce feminist literary night. Their recent dancing was for Queersar, at Wonderfarm and Ed Hall’s Kranzberg’s Snow.
