Poetry on Poets

Join friends for an evening of poetry at 9:15 p.m. on Monday, May 1, at Cafe Istanbul (2372 St. Claude). 

Come hang out with Chuck Perkins, a proprietor of Cafe Istanbul, as he hosts and shares some of his own poetry and prose to the musical stylings of Mario Abney and friends.

Guests are welcome to share their own prose, poetry, music, or song.

Amy, resident bartender, offers weekly special drinks and non-alcoholic beverages. There will also be red beans, rice, and cornbread for donations.
