2012 Cupcake Throwdown & Artist Cake Walk!

Please join us at Press Street’s Second Annual CUPCAKE THROWDOWN & ARTIST CAKE WALK!

We will have tasty treats made by home bakers and professional pastry chefs that you can purchase or win by competing in a $2 a ticket cake walk.  We will also have free cupcakes for kids in costumes (while they last), and a raffle for a Press Street tote bag filled with prizes.  Admission is FREE.  For more information contact info@press-street.com.

Dank Mirth

Dank Mirth is a series of colorful cartoon panel style acrylic paintings on sheets of raw burlap and double-sided 3D wooden comic-strip thought balloons suspended from the gallery’s ceiling. The title of the show refers to a particular style of gallows humor familiar to those who make their home in New Orleans. The show is Dank Mirth

Garden of Earthly Delights

Come and help raise money for our non-profit gallery Antenna by re-drawing sections of Bosch’s Garden of Earthly Delights on Thursday the 12th. Beer and snacks provided. 6:00 – 10:00. The 8′ x 12′ drawing will be sold by the inch during Antenna’s drawing show/fundraiser on Saturday November 14th 6:00 – 9:00.
