Producing experimental exhibitions at Press Street’s Antenna Gallery is a costly venture! We are a non-profit platform for emerging artists to test out new ideas, so we don’t have sales profits with which to fund out exhibitions. That means we have to alternatively fund Antenna exhibitions, which cost between $1300-$5000 each month. And that’s just production costs and doesn’t include operational costs like rent or utilities! So Press Street needs your help to produce the next year of ambitious gallery exhibitions. You can help right now by becoming a part of a host committee for an upcoming Antenna exhibition.
What does it mean to be part of a host committee?
A host committee is a way of spreading out the cost of an exhibition so that multiple people can help out financially. For as little as $100, you can help us produce an exhibition you feel passionate about. Your contribution will support artist stipends, the purchase exhibition and install supplies, shipping costs, publication production, and everything in between.
What’s in it for me?
Well, besides the satisfaction of helping make something awesome happen, your contribution will be recognized in both the exhibition publication and as part of the exhibition wall text in the gallery. Additionally, you will be invited to a private dinner with the featured artists of the exhibition you support, where some of the best conversations about art and the world can be had. Oh, and because Press Street is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization, your donation of any amount is fully tax deductible.
