This exhibit is a survey of Tyler Starr’s publications from Wobble Press visualizing KKK motorcades from declassified FBI documents and cataloging evidence from cases against white supremacist organizations. Redress Papers makes reconstructive use of archives to reevaluate ways the past imbues present civil rights injustices. Starr’s books are influenced by printed ephemera such as touristic brochures presenting digestible history of sites with troublesome associations, souvenir postcards, and used car classifieds found at truck stops.
