Dogfish Presents: Nancy Reddy and April Blevins Pejic

Dogfish presents authors Nancy Reddy and April Blevins at 7 pm on Thursday, September 20, at 2448 N. Villere.

NANCY REDDY is the author of Double Jinx (Milkweed Editions, 2015), a 2014 winner of the National Poetry Series, and the chapbook Acadiana (Black Lawrence Press, 2018). Her poems have appeared or are forthcoming in 32 Poems, Blackbird, Pleiades, The Iowa Review, Smartish Pace, and elsewhere. The recipient of a Walter E. Dakin Fellowship from the Sewanee Writers’ Conference and grants from the New Jersey State Council on the Arts and the Sustainable Arts Foundation, she teaches writing at Stockton University in southern New Jersey.

APRIL BLEVINS PEJIC‘s work has appeared in Cimarron Review, Green Briar Review, Arcadia Magazine, and elsewhere. Her essay “A History We Can Live With” was noted in the Best American Essays 2015. She currently serves as nonfiction editor for the Peauxdunque Review. She is a graduate of the University of New Orleans Creative Writing Workshop and a member of the Peauxdunque Writers Alliance. She teaches writing at Nicholls State University.
