Dogfish presents Tarriona “Tank” Ball

A New Orleans native, Tarriona “Tank” Ball has been writing poetry since she was young and was a prominent member of the Slam New Orleans team. She released a solo album of slam poetry and musical musings called “RandoMe” in 2010. More recently, Tank has become well known for her dynamic vocals in her locally-beloved band, Tank and the Bangas, which just won NPR’s Tiny Desk Contest and national recognition.
