Submit your longings, ministrations, and supplications of the heart that you have created or received in the shorthand of text messaging. Submit here: https://antenna.submittable.com/submit The event on Valentines Day will be readings of these non-fictional text threads curated from this open call for submissions. Threads may be edited to protect participants or may be read as originally texted. All text authors or recipients are encouraged to read. In cases where anonymity is requested, texts can be read by a professional actor.
The evening will be emceed by Adam Newman, himself an active engager in text dating. LETTERS READ: Text Dating is part of the ongoing series of live events in which local artists interpret personal letters and correspondence by culturally vital individuals from various times and New Orleans communities. 2018 marks Letters Read’s second season, presented by stationer Nancy Sharon Collins in partnership with Antenna Gallery.
Deadline for submissions is February 4, 2018 at 11:59pm: https://antenna.submittable.com/submit

-Give a short description of the text to provide some context.
