Thank Tank Reading Series Presents: Lucy Corin and Gabriel Blackwell
The Tank Tank Reading Series presents Lucy Corin and Gabriel Blackwell at 8 p.m. on Monday, Nov. 9, at the Thank Tank (2433 St. Claude Ave.). The two prose writers will read some of their work in a comfortable home environment. Nothing will be provided but the words, possibly not even chairs. Please bring something to drink.
Lucy Corin is the author of the short story collection The Entire Predicament (Tin House Books) and the novel Everyday Psychokillers: A History for Girls (FC2). The collection One Hundred Apocalypses and Other Apocalypses was released in September 2013 from McSweeney’s Books. She’s an Associate Professor at University of California, Davis where she teaches in the English Department and Creative Writing Program.
Gabriel Blackwell is the author of The Natural Dissolution of Fleeting-Improvised-Men: The Last Letter of H. P. Lovecraft (CCM, 2013), Critique of Pure Reason (Noemi, 2013), and Shadow Man: A Biography of Lewis Miles Archer (CCM, 2012). He also co-edits The Collagist, a monthly literary journal.
