NOLA MIX – Youth DJ Classes

Have Fun – Make Music!  Sign up for NOLA MIX Youth DJ Classes and learn how to mix, scratch, and perform music with new technology, and hands-on training.  Saturdays from 12:00pm – 1:30pm / January 12th to February 2nd (4 Classes – Space is limited).

Course Highlights:

• DJ History
• The Ins & Outs of Equipment – Turntables, mixers, speakers, etc.
• Basic Scratching & Timing
• Basic Mixing
• New Technology – Introduction to Serato Live and mixing consoles

NOLA MIX is a New Orleans based music education program that provides training, mentoring and performance opportunities for aspiring DJs of all ages and skill levels. Students learn to mix, scratch, and DJ through a hands-on and interactive experience.
