In 2026, Antenna is seeking local and national community members for a three year term on the Antenna board. We are seeking folx with knowledge in marketing, philanthropy, real estate, builder, architect, publishing, and community members who are interested in supporting the arts ecosystem. Board members support Antenna’s mission; participate in developing policies and procedures to govern the organization, and advise the team. Applications are due June 1, followed by an interview and approval of the board by early July and August and if accepted onboarding in September – November with your first meeting in December.

GiveNOLA Day Community Vibe Dinner!
GiveNOLA Day is Tuesday May 5th – This year Antenna is raising $5,000 for our Emergency Grants for Artists and we’d love to see you all on 5.5.26 from 6-8pm at our Vibes Dinner – an evening of conversation, community, and celebration of artists as workers. Featuring a light dinner as well as a creative sharing by Pink Slipper (recipient of the Antenna Press Award), this event is hosted by our wonderful board to celebrate and uplift the New Orleans creative community during this local fundraising holiday. All donations from the Give NOLA Day platform and this event supports Antenna’s Artist Emergency Fund, helping sustain artists and cultural workers during times of need. Scaled donations of $25–$150 are asked for those wishing to attend the dinner, with donations of $50 or more receiving a copy of the Pink Slipper book!

PLATFORMS FUND IS OPEN FOR APPLICATIONS MAY 1st-31st, 2026
Project grants of $10,000 and research grants of $1500 are awarded annually to New Orleans based individuals,collectives, and collaborative art groups in support of new and innovative artistic commissions that take place outside the museum or gallery walls, within the public realm, or in a non-traditional exhibition environment. Grants are awarded to projects that best exemplify an attention to the histories, communities, and ecologies of the region and their (trans)national implications, while reimagining visual artmaking for social change. The Platforms Fund is a collaborative effort of Antenna, Ashé Cultural Art Center, and the Andy Warhol Foundation for the Visual Arts.

Join us on Saturday Nov. 8 from 6:30-9:30 PM to celebrate Second Saturday by taking the Art Bus to the open galleries across St. Roch, St. Claude, and Arabi! Hosted by Antenna Board Member Rahsaana Ison, the Art Bus is FREE to ride and will stop at each gallery for approximately 20-25 minutes. Drinks and snacks will be provided. Suggested donations of $15 to $20 are appreciated, but not expected. No one turned away for lack of funds and there is no reservation required. Please email info@antenna.works with questions.

The Lay of the Lack of the Land
This work investigates ecological change in Gulf Coast ecosystems and along the Mississippi River, juxtaposing repeat patterns of troubling plant species with the architecture of fossil fuel extraction. Intertwined
Intertwined by Flora Cabili is an immersive, mixed media exhibition that reflects on space, carving, permanence, and expansion. The paintings, collages, sculptures, videoed movement story, and soundscape are entangled in metaphysical environments that are both confined and liberated. IIntertwined invites us to consider how we experience these patterns, at times entangled, to find the release in the spaces in between.
