Unfathomable City: A New Orleans Atlas

July 17, 2019 6–7:30 p.m. 520 Royal Street Susan Larson hosts a monthly conversation with authors, artists, and audience members, in conjunction with Art of the City: Postmodern to Post-Katrina, presented by The Helis Foundation. This month’s event will feature Rebecca Snedeker’s Unfathomable City: A New Orleans Atlas and Guest Curator Jan Gilbert. Admission is free, and registration is required.

Carmin Wong is a Guyanese-born poet, playwright, and second-year MFA student at the University of New Orleans. She is currently the Associate Poetry Editor of Bayou Magazine. In 2018, Wong was featured in the Women’s Voice Theater Festival held at the Kennedy Center for Performing Arts in Washington, D.C. She has performed in poetry slams BROKEN ENGLISH

Antenna will host 2019 Platforms Fund national jurors Tonika Johnson and Robin Gallite for a night of conversation in the gallery on the evening of July 18th. Tonika is a visual artist from Chicago and Robin Gallite is the Deputy Director of RedLine, a new Warhol Foundation re-granting organization in Denver.
