Beau Boudreaux Book Signing
byBeau Boudreaux celebrates the release of his new book, Rapunzel’s Braid, at 6 p.m. on Monday, March 20, at Garden District Book Shop (2727 Prytania Street).

Beau Boudreaux currently teaches at Tulane University. He received a Ph.D. in English from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee in 2002, his M.A. from the Center for Writers and the University of Southern Mississippi in 1966, and his B.A. in English from the University of Southern California.
Rapunzel’s Braid is Boudreaux’s second book of poems, published in 2016 by Five Oaks Press, which peers into a diversity of cityscapes, most notably New Orleans–Audubon Park, soft-shelled crabs, jazz and angels. His first book of poems, Running Red, Running Redder, was published by Cherry Grove Collections in 2012. He is also the author of Significant Other, which won the New Dawn Unlimited chapbook award. Beau has published poetry widely in journals including Antioch Review, Cream City Review, and Louisiana Literature, also appearing in The Southern Poetry Anthology.
