EXHIBITION DATES: Nov 8th-Dec 13th, 2025:::DẠ, ĐÚNG RỒI is a collection of photographs from Vietnamese-American communities living along the Gulf Coast interspersed with photographs from Việt Nam. The body of work explores Vietnamese identity in the American South while, in tandem, speaking to larger themes of displacement, resettlement, and American cultural hybridity. The work reflects on the complex relationship between cross-generational Vietnamese-Americans and their adopted country fifty years after the end of the Vietnam War. Dạ, Đúng Rồi traces the layered landscapes of Vietnamese life across the Gulf Coast and Việt Nam, weaving together images of diaspora across water and time.
Horatio Nguyen is a First-Generation Vietnamese-American photographer and filmmaker.
