DIY HARD with a VENGEANCE

Local non-profit throws party to raise awareness and funds for public art studio.

The WorkRoom, with the support of Press Street and New Orleans Craft Mafia, is hosting a party to raise awareness for their upstart public art studio. The event, called “DIY Hard (With a Vengeance)”, will take place from 6-10pm at Antenna Gallery, 3161 Burgundy Street. The event is free and open to the public and will feature free DIY workshops, including a screen-printing station where people can make their own WorkRoom tote bags. The event will also feature a crafts market that will showcase art, video, and handmade goods by supporters of The WorkRoom, as well as music, beer, and snacks.

The WorkRoom is a non-profit public art studio dedicated to providing support to creative people in the Greater New Orleans area by providing the space, tools, education, and community presence in a variety of artistic media.
