Jonathan Penton, Rania Zada, and Xander Bilyk read at Material Life

Jonathan Penton, Rania Zada, and Xander Bilyk will read at Material Life (6038 St. Claude) at 7 p.m. on Tuesday, October 25.

The reading is a celebration of the release of Standards of Sadiddy, a book of poems by Jonathan Penton published by Lit Fest Press.

New Orleans poets Xander Bilyk and Penton will read alongside visiting memoirist Rania Zada, author of Egyptian Exoctica (Ig Publishing).

Material Life is an art-and-gift gallery in the lower ninth ward. The event is free and open to the public, and a selection of sadiddy wines and improbably canapés will be available.
