L. Kasimu Harris :: Since the Last Time We Met…
This solo exhibition by artist, photographer and storyteller, L. Kasimu Harris, is a documented meditation of his personal and professional life during a global pandemic. The body of work is inspired by the “Sweet Fly Paper of Life,” a renowned collaborative piece between Langston Hughes and Roy DeCarava.
Harris’ intention is for the series of images to transport viewers on a visual and narrated journey through his assignments during the COVID-19 climate, and also providing a glimpse into his home and social life. Harris shares reflections through these visuals that magnify universal themes through life, love, and loss.
