This year’s Press Street Prom will include musical performances by Tank and the Bangas, My Graveyard Jaw, & DJ Brice Nice, prom photos by Jonathan Traviesa, art installations by Jacob Reptile Martin & Jane Cassidy, spiked punch, gaudiest dressed and best corsage contests with cash prizes, and a Sex Ed lesson between acts for all of those in the crowd who may be making it a very special night to remember.
VIP ticket holders will have access to a lounge with open bar and will have an early evening preview to an art auction filled with work by local contemporary artists including Amanda Cassignham-Bardwell, Amelia Broussard, Caesar Meadows, Natalie McLaurin, Carl Joe Williams, BenFox-McCord, Michael Pajon, Emily Rose Apple, Susan Gisleson, Lindsey Flanagan, Nicholas Brausch, AnnieLaurie Erickson, Angela Driscoll, ANGEL, Devon Murphy, Jonathan Traviesa, Maggie McWilliams, Ernest Littles, Bob Snead, and MORE! VIP ticket holders will be able to come at 6pm, an hour before the party starts, preview the work on the auction block and will have a special “buy it now” price for each piece so that they can snag the work before anyone can bid!
