Join us for an impromptu screening of the award-winning documentary, Hotel Everest, followed by a Q&A, afterwards, with the film’s Director/Producer, Claudia Sobral.

Hotel Everest is a story about individuals who have the courage to overcome ancient hatreds, fear and mistrust to find a better and peaceful way for themselves, their communities and their families. They come together to understand the humanity in “the other”, forge connections that promote empathy, understanding, and alliances vested in self-determination to both peoples. Our film is not a historical account of the Israeli/Palestinian conflict but a contemporary, experiential film about living within it.

Claudia Sobral is a cultural anthropologist and a documentary filmmaker.
