Platforms Fund Info Session: Strong Narratives and Work Samples
The Platforms Fund, a collaborative effort of Antenna and Ashé Cac in partnership with the Andy Warhol Foundation for the Visual Arts, will distribute a total of $60,000 in grants for the 2019-20 cycle to a diverse array of artist-driven projects that are ambitious, accessible, and experimental in nature.
To be able to foster more experimentation, the Fund will now provide project grant awards of up to $10,000. While most awards will be between $1,500 and $5,000, a select few will be provided $10,000, reserved for particularly ambitious or long-term projects developed by established artists or collective. The fund will also continue to award $1,500 research and development grants for projects in their earliest stages. Research and development grantees will be eligible to apply for up to $3500 additional funds in the next grant cycle to help actualize their projects.
