Poetry at Antenna: Josh Edwards, Liz Countryman, and Samuel Amadon
Room 220 is pleased to host an evening of live poetry at 7 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 11, at the Antenna Gallery.
Joshua Edwards is director and co-editor of Canarium Books, an esteemed publisher of poetry that has released books by Ish Klein, John Beer, Paul Killebrew, and Robert Fernandez, among others. Edwards is the translator of María Baranda’s Ficticia and the author of Campeche (Noemi, 2011) and Imperial Nostalgias (Ugly Duckling, forthcoming). He is a lecturer at Stanford University.
Samuel Amadon is the author of Like a Sea (Iowa, 2010) and The Hartford Book (Cleveland State, forthcoming). Recent poems are forthcoming in The New Yorker, American Poetry Review, Ploughshares, and A Public Space. He is from Hartford.
Liz Countryman‘s poems have appeared in Black Warrior Review, Handsome, Hayden’s Ferry, H_NGM_N, and elsewhere. She lives in Houston.
