This exhibition explores the use of “Reverse Recuperation” a term coined by Suzana Milevska and inspired by the French situationists technique “détournement” in Latin American female performance art. Artist books and exhibition catalogues will include artists who use intervention, genre public art, performance as urban myth, radical gift giving, ethical imagining and poetic speculation to bestow autonomous agency to their bodies and their practice.
