SLAVE REBELLION REENACTMENT: CLOTHING DONATION GUIDELINES

Help supply the army of the enslaved with costumes! Clothing donations are accepted Wednesday’s at Antenna during gallery hours. Contact raven@antenna.works with questions.

Men’s Clothing:

—Suit jackets or blazers, preferably not polyester

—Dress shirts, collared, long sleeve (white preferable)

—pants, preferably cotton or linen, (zip front, button fly, or drawstring).

    Women’s clothing:

—knee to floor length skirts, not stretch fabric

—open neck or round neck blouses, sometimes called a peasant blouse

—blazers or jackets, not polyester

• Unless otherwise noted, the colors that would work best are neutral colors (browns and greys), white and faded primary colors….no black please.

  No modern patterns…..solids, stripes, or small floral patterns, ands plaids are great..

• Sizes Small to X large.

• Natural fibers (cotton, linen, wool) are great, please no polyester, stretch, or synthetic fibers
