11th Annual Draw-A-Thon!

Bringing it back to the Marigny Opera House, 725 St Ferdinand Street! Come join us for 24 hours of art making on Saturday November 26 6:30am to Sunday November 27 6:30am. Draw-A-Thon is an art experience in which visitors are active participants– not spectators; where everyone is encouraged to create for the sake of creating! All 11th Annual Draw-A-Thon!

24hr comics day at Antenna

24-Hour Comics Day is an annual international celebration of comics creation. On this day, creative folks take on the 24 hour comics challenge: to create a 24 page comic book story, normally months worth of work, in 24 straight hours. Many participants gather at official event sites all over the world including comic book stores, schools, 24hr comics day at Antenna

Common Field Meetup

Common Field is a visual arts organizing network connecting contemporary, experimental, noncommercial artist-run and artist centered spaces and initiatives. Their yearly convening (which began as Hand-in-Glove and was hosted in New Orleans in 2013) will be in Miami on October 20-23, connecting 350+ arts organizers from around the country to explore contemporary issues of arts Common Field Meetup
