Book artists Sara White and Jessica Peterson use letterpress printing and handmade paper to craft limited-edition, hand-bound artists’ books. Both artists use this time-intensive and highly crafted method of publishing to explore how place and history can be re-created and cataloged within a book. This exhibition will include books by each artist, as well as an overview of the physical process of making the editions and a reading room of books that inspire and support their work.
