Reaching for the Horizon takes as its point of departure the precarity of the present day and uses it as the momentum that drives the artists in the show to reach for aesthetic terrains that create visions of neofutures in which they and their communities continue to exist and thrive. These are future times and spaces that are intersectional as they are interdisciplinary, experimental as they are empirical. The artists are bound by their gazes to future horizons.
