French Quarter Beautification Project Novel Release Party
The launch party for C.W. Cannon’s French Quarter Beautification Project will take place at 5 p.m. on Saturday, January 28, at The Dance Quarter (1719 Toledano Street).
The event will feature the music of Bach, Schubert, Chopin, and Debussy, performed by Jonathan Szymanski, Audrey Harmon, and Ahsharah Morris.
C.W. Cannon grew up in the French Quarter, Faubourg Marigny, and Bywater neighborhoods of New Orleans. His short fiction and non-fiction have appeared most recently in the New Orleans Review, the Times-Picayune, nolafugees.com, and Constance. His work is also available in anthologies such as In Our Own Words: a Generation Defining Itself, Louisiana in Words, and Year Zero: a Year of Reporting from Post-Katrina New Orleans. His “New Orleans Manifesto” is featured in Do You Know What It Means to Miss New Orleans? (Chin Music Press).
